Modern office design is completed designed by the SPASM Design Architects. They have completed designed an office called the AON Insurance office building which is based in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.

MODERN OFFICE DESIGN REVIEW

New office building which called the AON Insurance office building is designed by the SPASM Design Architects in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania. The architecture in the tropics is about negotiating the elements. The site area is about 2591 square meters, while the building itself is covers area for about 820 square meters.

The roofs play a vital role in the defense against these elements. With the promise of solid commitment of purpose, the project needed to express the contemporary organization, built to living space a premier insurance company. The architect attempt is to make a strong connection with its green surroundings and to create a humane working environment for a cross cultural staff structure.

MODERN OFFICE DESIGN ARCHITECTURE

Sited in a quiet, low-rise, residential neighborhood of Dar-es-Salaam, an emerging financial hub on the coast of Tanzania, East Africa, the AON Insurance Headquarters is nestled within a lovely garden acreage with existing acacias, gulmohurs, frangipanis and Erica palms.

The brief prompted the placement of three off-shutter concrete cabinets, to incorporate storage of records. These cabinets form the principal enclosure and allow for framed vistas of the surrounding garden, continuing and enhancing the spatial construct of the garden.

The evolution of the office design is started with three giant concrete cabinets holding archival storage systems and services, sitting on the green and forming the principle enclosure. Which over-sails unequally over the glazing, a blade; thin canopy it is a contemporary interpretation of the local Makuti (thatch) roof band as on the local homes. It is responding to the solar incidence.

It protects the entire perimeter single glazing, allowing it to receive glare-free sunlight and also reducing energy costs. The canopy levitates and reflects light onto the surrounding landscape like a beacon.
